Vincent Marcatté loves a challenge. An amateur triathlon athlete, he runs an ambitious R&D transformation program for the France Telecom-Orange group. He chairs the Images et Réseaux cluster in the same style, determined to lift it into the group of world-leading clusters in the field of new media contents and Internet of the Future.

Vice chairman of the board, representing large companies

Jean-Dominique Meunier holds the position of Cooperative Program Director in the Technicolor Group, the world leading provider of solutions for the creation, management, delivery and access of video. He represents large companies in the Executive Board of the Images et Réseaux cluster.

Vice chairman of the board, representing higher education and research centers

André Chomette is the director of TELECOM Bretagne, a prestigious graduate engineering school and international research centre in the field of information technologies. He represents higher education and research centers in the Executive Board of the Images et Réseaux cluster.

Vice chairman of the board, representing SMEs

Gérard Faria is the executive director of TeamCast, a company specialized in the digital TV broadcasting solutions for both digital terrestrial TV and Mobile TV transmission. He represents small and medium sized enterprises in the Executive Board of the Images et Réseaux cluster.

Head of the CSV

Jean-Yves Savary is upstream activities manager in the TDF group, and he deals with joint projects. Within the Cluster, he coordinates the CSV (selection and validation committee), which is made up of scientific and technical experts. The CSV examines the collaborative project applications and provides support and advice.

Head of the CSE

After spending 18 years at the head of the telecommunications branch of a major group, Jean-Claude Fraval acts as a business development consultant in the new technologies sector. He runs the CSE (supervision and evaluation committee), which assesses the Cluster’s results in the light of its objectives.

Head of the COS

Olivier Hersent founded NetCentrex in 1998, a company specialized in IP communications now part of the Comverse group. Since 2009, he shares his time between consultancy and new businesses. He runs the COS (strategic orientation committee), which gives the cluster a long term vision about innovation, market trends, competitiion, etc.

Chief Executive Officer

Bertrand Guilbaud holds a Supélec diploma and an executive MBA degree. His experience comes from his career in the Thomson group, starting in R&D and moving to the position of product line manager. With his skills and experience in the international arena, he is ideally qualified to lead Images et Réseaux forward, ensuring ever wider influence.
